Hi, I’m Nicole Ellis, and I believe real estate is about more than buying and selling homes. It’s about building relationships, helping people achieve their goals, and serving the community I’m proud to call home.

As a Licensed Broker with John L. Scott Market Center and more than five years of experience in real estate, I bring a unique combination of sales expertise, client advocacy, and community leadership to every transaction. My professional background includes 13 years selling nursery stock throughout the United States and 11 years as a health coach, both of which taught me the value of strong communication, trust-based relationships, problem-solving, and personalized service.

I hold the ABR® and AHWD® designations and have completed John L. Scott’s Certified Buyer Representation Specialist®, Certified Seller Marketing Specialist®, and Certified Open House Specialist® training programs. In the Tualatin Valley of the Portland metropolitan area sits Hillsboro, Oregon. The county seat of Washington County, it’s also the fifth-largest city in the state. Hillsboro is known for being a hub of innovation. This is partly due to its proximity to Portland, which is only 30 minutes away and accessible by light rail. But it’s also because many high-tech companies, including Intel, have established themselves in the city. Though healthcare and agriculture, wineries, in particular, are also large industries in the area. This is is a family-friendly city with over half the adult population with children under the age of 18. It’s a community-driven area, great for young professionals looking to both establish roots and engage in their careers. With plenty of lush greenery that the Pacific Northwest is known for, Hillsboro has over 50 public green spaces and parks, like the Jackson Bottom Wetlands Preserve, providing residents plenty of room to take in the area’s natural beauty. It’s also just a few hours from Mt. Hood to the east and the Oregon Coast to the west, providing ample opportunity to enjoy the fantastic landscapes Oregon has to offer. The 10 locations listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Hillsboro are a part of the city’s charm and uniqueness. One of these locations is Imbrie Farm, whose barn McMenamins converted into a brewpub, the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. Hillsboro has many distinct neighborhoods, offering something for everyone. There’s Orenco Station, with its hustle and bustle full of eateries and shops and light rail access. For those who are looking for a quieter, more suburban feel, there are neighborhoods like Brookwood.
